LANSING BREWING COMPANY

OVER 100 YEARS IN THE MAKING - KIND OF.

THE STORY:

The Lansing Brewing Company was the first full-scale production brewery in Lansing from 1898-1914. In 2014, Lansing was the largest market in MI that did not house at least one production brewery. In 2014, Lansing was the largest market in MI that did not house.

THE GOAL:

THE JOB:

Create a brand, brand narrative and brand environment that embraces the nostalgia of the original brewery, but gives a dynamic vibe & feel for modern day beer enthusiasts. Create a brand, brand narrative and brand environment that embraces the nostalgia.

THE RESULTS:

After 8 years of successfully cultivating an award-winning and customer pleasing brand identity, through events, menus, social media, and everything else under the sun the brewery was sold to an out-of-towner. Creating a brewery from scratch doesn’t fall in your lap very often. I am grateful and proud I was at the table from day one to help mold and shape it.
